When our team of designers creates a new Kooky pen, they often create prototypes to help get the design just right. Artist Proofs are also pens used in the design process, they are made by the factory before they start production. There are only a few of these pens made for each Kooky. When the design process is over, we sometimes make the one-of-a-kind prototypes, or limited Artists Proofs available to our collectors. Both types of pens are initialed on the back by the Kooky artist that created them. These pens also come with a Certificate of Authenticity.
